Our Story
Three generations of passion for the vine
Villa Lorenci was founded in 1967 by Giovanni Lorenci, who saw in the sun-soaked hills of Montalcino the perfect canvas for his winemaking vision. What began as a modest family estate has grown into one of Tuscany's most cherished destinations for wine lovers from around the world.
Today, the third generation of the Lorenci family continues Giovanni's legacy, blending time-honored traditions with modern sustainable practices. Every bottle we produce is a tribute to the land, the climate, and the generations of knowledge that have shaped our craft.
Our estate spans 45 hectares of carefully tended vineyards, perched at elevations between 250 and 400 meters above sea level. The unique combination of galestro and alberese soils, combined with the Tuscan Mediterranean climate, gives our grapes their distinctive character.
We cultivate primarily Sangiovese, the noble grape of Tuscany, alongside Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and select indigenous varieties. Our vineyards are managed using organic principles, with a deep respect for the biodiversity that makes our terroir truly special.
We produce a curated selection of wines that express the best of our terroir: Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, our signature Super Tuscan blend, and a limited-edition Riserva released only in exceptional vintages.

Every wine is crafted with patience and precision. From hand-harvesting to gentle pressing and extended aging in Slavonian oak, we never cut corners.

Villa Lorenci is located in the heart of Montalcino, one of Italy's most celebrated wine regions. We're easily accessible from Siena (40 minutes) and Florence (90 minutes).
